Lockdown Memories

On March 23rd 2020 Boris Johnson announced the first lockdown of Covid-19.  Little did we know that this would be the first of three national lockdowns across the UK.  So much has happened since then that it is hard to believe that this was just a year ago.

As a school community, the Wentworth family have worked together to support each other through each of the lockdowns and as we return to school we can look back at how far we have come and know that we are now a part of history that future generations will learn about.  The children’s resilience and courage shines through and everyone of us should be proud of how far we have come since March 2020.  Home-learning, Zoom calls, working from home, online shopping, ‘Hands, Face, Space’ – we have juggled it all and survived!

These wonderful memories focus on the good things about lockdown.  Spending time with family and slowing down to appreciate all we have around us, is the clear message that comes from the thoughts and images that you chose to share with us.

Thankyou to all those of you that took the time to share your Lockdown memories, and also to Mrs Turner for organising this collection.
